Why is FamiNest Kids not on Google Play?

FamiNest Kids uses powerful supervision features (like the Accessibility Service) that we distribute directly as an APK. The parent app is available normally, and both apps work together once the child device is paired.

Is the APK safe to install?

Yes — only download FamiNest Kids from this official page. The app never sells your family’s data and only shares child-device activity with the linked parent account. See the FamiNest Kids Privacy Policy for details.

Which devices are supported?

FamiNest Kids runs on Android 8.0 and newer. Some features rely on Android system permissions such as usage access, accessibility, and display-over-other-apps.

How do I update the app later?

Just open Kids Wizard again on the child device — it always downloads and installs the latest FamiNest Kids version. Updating keeps the pairing and all settings intact.

How do I uninstall or unpair?

Unpair the device from your parent dashboard first, then uninstall FamiNest Kids from the child device like any other app. Device-administrator protection is released when the device is unpaired.

Download the Kids Wizard on the child’s device

Open this page in the browser on your child’s Android device and tap the Download button above. If you downloaded it on your own phone, transfer the file to the child device first.

The downloaded file ends in .apk and appears in your Downloads folder.
Chrome may warn about APK files — tap “Download anyway”.

Allow installation from this source

When you open the downloaded file, Android asks you to allow installs from the browser. Tap Settings, enable “Allow from this source”, then go back and tap Install.

This permission is a standard Android step for any app installed outside Google Play.
You can turn the permission off again after installing.

Open Kids Wizard — it automatically downloads the latest FamiNest Kids app and starts the installer for you. The wizard always fetches the newest version, so you never install an outdated app.

Keep the device online — the wizard needs a connection to fetch the app.
